Your privacy
Privacy Policy
We teach seniors to be careful with their information online, so we hold ourselves to the same standard. This site collects as little as a website possibly can.
The short version
We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics service on this website. We do not use advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
This site is a simple, informational website. You can read every page without giving us your name, your email address, or any other personal detail.
What we do not collect
No accounts, no sign-ups, and no passwords. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising networks, or behavioral profiling. No cookies used to follow you across other websites.
The only information stored in your browser
If you change your display settings using the accessibility panel (text size, higher contrast, underlined links, reduced motion), that choice is saved locally in your own browser so the site remembers it on your next visit. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Standard hosting information
This website is built and hosted on Lovable. Like essentially every website on the internet, the hosting platform processes basic technical request information — such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested — for the ordinary purposes of delivering pages, keeping the site secure, and preventing abuse. That is a default requirement of hosting, not something we added, and we do not use it to build any profile of you or reach out to you.
If you email us
When you write to us at our contact address, we see what you send: your email address and your message. We use it only to reply to you and to arrange or follow up on Tech Talk sessions. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not pass your message along to anyone else.
Photos of residents
Photographs of residents on this site are shared with permission of the individual or their community. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, email us and we will take it down.
Children
This website is intended for older adults, their families, and the staff of senior communities. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If anything about how this site handles information ever changes, this page will be updated first. If tracking or analytics were ever added, it would be stated here plainly.
